Our outpatient (OP) Telehealth Addiction Service is focused on providing high quality outpatient support for substance use and addiction challenges. It is designed to help make the steps towards recovery more accessible. All sessions are 100% remote in order to provide access to individuals with busy lives, or who many not live close to one of our location.
Who would benefit from this program?
‣ Adults who are self-medicating with drugs and/or alcohol as a result of stress at home, school, and/or work.
‣ Adults who have found themselves increasing use of alcohol/drugs due to the changes brought about by COVID-19.
‣ Adults with busy work/family schedules who would like extra support in their recovery process.
‣ Individuals who have completed an IP and/or IOP program and would like specialized individual therapy to continue their recovery work.
Our Telehealth Addiction Service is great for those who are no longer having consistent strong cravings, who are attending school or work, and do not meet the criteria for intensive care. We are a great step down option to help individuals maintain their sobriety and encourage ongoing use of necessary skills.
Please note that we are not a detox/inpatient, or intensive outpatient (IOP) program. Sessions are scheduled on a weekly basis. We do not offer crisis support. We do not provide pharmacological support. We highly recommend that if you are currently taking medication or are in need of a referral for a psychiatric medication provider that you continue working with your current provider and/or contact your PCP for an appropriate referral.
We have a highly trained team of licensed counselors with specialized expertise in substance use treatment. To learn more about them, please check out our counselor professional bio section.

There are several potential benefits that come from using remote services. When using online technology there is always the risk of security issues, as well as technical issues (phone not charged, computer or software not working, etc.). You will discuss and develop an individualized plan for how best to address technical issues that may arise and will take steps to facilitate the security of interactions with your counselor.
In order to protect your confidentiality and to facilitate the security of your information as much as possible, here is a list of recommendations:
- Engage in sessions in a private location where you cannot be heard by others.
- Use a private phone, tablet, or computer.
- Do not record any sessions (this violates HIPAA and may result in termination of services).
- Password protect any technology you will be interacting with your counselor on.
- Always log out, or hang up once sessions are complete.
Most insurance providers cover telehealth services, however, it is important to verify coverage prior to getting started. If you have any questions about this please contact us.
