Minh Mai, M.Ed (pre-licensed)

Pre-Licensed MA Level Counselor (LMHC track)

I am a compassionate mental health counselor dedicated to empowering clients as they navigate life’s adversities and mental health challenges. With a solid academic foundation that includes a B.A. in Biochemistry, a B.S. in Psychology, and a M.Ed. in Mental Health Counseling, I integrate a science-informed perspective into my therapeutic practice.

Utilizing a diverse array of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including ACT, CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, Play Therapy, and Art Therapy, I tailor my interventions to meet the unique needs of each client. This versatility allows me to effectively address a wide spectrum of emotional and psychological issues, ensuring that individuals from all background and age groups feel supported and understood.

I also have a great passion for working with children and adolescents, recognizing the importance of early intervention and resilience-building during these formative years. Through creative modalities like Play and Art Therapy, I foster a safe and engaging environment where young clients can express themselves, explore their feelings, and develop essential coping strategies.

In my practice, I prioritize a collaborative approach, actively involving clients in their therapeutic journey. By building strong, trusting relationships, I encourage open communication and self-discovery, empowering clients to overcome obstacles and cultivate a fulfilling and meaningful life. Whether addressing anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, or trauma, I am dedicated to guiding clients toward positive change and emotional well-being.
