I have been in practice for 15+ years and received my graduate education from the Boston Graduate School of Psychoanalysis. My therapeutic approach involves meeting the client where they are. Developing a connection is important as this is where a client can explore the challenges they face without judgement. I utilize a combination of directive psychotherapy, humor, and relational approaches to help my clients achieve more manageable and fulfilling lives.
Instead of only focusing on a symptom, whole person care looks at the client’s entire situation, including their emotional and mental health, their economic conditions, and their environment.
I work with adults ages 19 and up who are interested in focusing on the following areas:
- building a barrier against the world's stressors
- thriving in relationships - intimate and otherwise
- improving communication
- building and increasing distress tolerance
- growing self-confidence and a sense of agency
- building resiliency
- effectively managing anxiety and stress
- effectively managing transitions and changes
- sensory disorders
