The foundation of my therapeutic work is fostering a safe, warm, and welcoming space where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts and feelings. I work with children, adolescents and adults, incorporating elements of mindfulness, Narrative Therapy, Creative Arts Therapy, TF-CBT, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, and ACT.
I identify as LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent and have clinical experience with these communities. I’ve also worked extensively with anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. I tailor my approach to the individual, acknowledging the impact of their environments and intersecting identities. Additionally, I incorporate a person’s unique strengths and interests to bring a sense of familiarity and fun to a process that may otherwise feel somewhat daunting.
I completed my MSW at Simmons University where I was awarded the Shirley Saks Greenberg Award for outstanding achievement in the application of theory to clinical practice with youth and families. I have completed additional training in the areas of trauma-informed care and neurodivergence. I have worked in various treatment settings including community mental health centers and In Home Therapy (IHT).
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my girlfriend and two very fluffy cats, hiking and being out exploring, playing video or board games, singing, and crafting.
