Therapy is a great, first step towards making a better change in your life. You may be beginning this journey as an individual, or together as a family. I will be glad to support you in this process.
I use an eclectic approach, and utilize evidence based treatment modalities including Play Therapy, Expressive Therapies, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and relationship building interventions including Child-Parent Psychotherapy. I believe there is no one size fits all with therapy, and prioritize individualization and collaboration, as we work together to meet your goals.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified Early Intervention Specialist. I have experience working with families and young children 0-5. My experience also includes working with older children, adolescents, young adults, and families, and in a variety of settings including residential facilities, public schools, acute treatment facilities, community outreach, and therapeutic schools.
I graduated with a B.A. in Psychology and Dance Performance, from Roger Williams University. I then obtained my Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and Expressive Therapies from Lesley University.
