Gracen Scott, MSW (pre-licensed)

Pre-Licensed MSW Level Counselor (LICSW track)

As a therapist and School Counselor, I am passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and families with warmth, understanding, and a collaborative approach. I recognize that every child is unique, and I strive to create a safe and welcoming space where they feel heard, valued, and empowered.

With a Master of Social Work from the University of New Hampshire and a background in psychology, I take a holistic approach to therapy - considering not just a child’s emotions but also their environment, relationships, and personal strengths. My work in the school setting allows me to see different perspectives and bridge the gap between home, school, and mental health care, ensuring children receive the consistent support they need to thrive.

I tailor therapy to each child’s needs, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and solution-focused techniques, always with a strengths-based and trauma-informed perspective. Whether your child is experiencing anxiety, emotional regulation challenges, school-related stress, or family transitions, my goal is to help them build confidence, resilience, and the tools they need to navigate life’s ups and downs.

I believe that when families, schools, and therapists work together, children feel more supported and capable of overcoming challenges. I would love the opportunity to partner with you in helping your child feel more confident, understood, and equipped to succeed—in school, at home, and in life.

I am currently working towards my LCSW and look forward to continuing to grow in my ability to support families and children through meaningful, lasting change.
